    Having a holistic view of brand health is crucial when launching a product as revolutionary as Kinect for Xbox 360. The marketing team for Kinect, formerly “Project Natal”, wanted to be able to monitor various key performance indicators such as product awareness, social media sentiment, and pre-orders in order to ensure a successful 2010 holiday season. Most of the data came in the form of human gathered surveys, social media websites and various disconnected data sources. Extended Results aggregated the feeds using Microsoft PowerPivot for Excel and SharePoint 2010, while presenting the data in a concise view using SQL Server 2008 R2 Reporting Services.

    Energizer significantly invested in building out their BI strategy on the Microsoft platform. They wanted their internal employees to benefit from intuitive and insightful scorecards and performance metric reports. Their previous approach also lacked collaborative interaction and insights that employees could gain readily and easily. We took their existing PerformancePoint Excel Services, scorecards and metrics and created a new user experience, combining the scorecard and analytics metrics into a richer context; This provided easy understanding of the performance behavior of the Energizer business – and it looks cool.
